Title: climate control

Hello,

Just a quickie.

Never really understood the climate setting in the MV6 I have, is it a case of if eco switch light is on on the button, then the climate and the aircon are inactive?

Then if the eco button light is off and the auto setting is activated, that the climate switches on the aircon as and when it needs it, or is it permanently on.

We've always gone by the rule that is eco light is on, aircon is off, temp can still be adjusted and thats that, economical driving.

Wondered how it worked thats all?

What do others set theirs to?

Set mine on auto and adjust temp to suit, played about with settings, eco etc and never really fully understood them myself, watched the mpg on the disply on a motorway run whilst I was playing, didnt seem to make any difference.

Seems we both need educating.   ::)

according to the handbook on mine when in "auto " mode compressor runs constantly but when "eco" is lit it disengages the compressor so no cooling
