Title: Waving temperature guage!

I have an overheating problem, but the main issue seems to be my temp guage 'dancing' about (2.5 V6). It will go to over 100° then drop to 95° and back up in a matter of a couple of seconds seemingly at random.

Has anyone seen this before?

Yes, on my 2.2 CDX! I reckon I had a partial blockage in the cooling system & the stat was not seating properly. I flushed my system through with a heating descaler & the problem has resolved itself, but I am going to fit a new stat anyway just in case. HTH :y
