Title: no acceleration at all......

hi i have omgea 2.2 auto very nice apart from a few problems.every time i goes to accelerate but not use kick down the mil light comes on and i get no acceleration at all i have to stop turn it off then start it back again. its then fine until i push pedal down more than half way.it also bring check auto gearbos light on dash up.i'm quite good with fixing things but its getting to techie for me now please please help  :'(

Need codes read with a decent reader. Whereabouts are you located

As Rob says you need the codes read, most likely one of the throttle position sensors but need the codes to be sure :y

no codes shown up but only got a general code reader.im located in doncaster

i understand what your saying but why wolud it bring auto gearbox light up

also it doesn't change into 3rd gear properly. when changing it revvs but no gear change then i feel a bang from gearbox then drops in and its sticks in that gear so i have change with semi auto
