Unsure what type you mean. The xenon lights use the normal bulb holders but I suspect that you mean the projector type (HID) high intensity discharge ones as fitted to the higher end models. Mine is an Elite.
The HID bulbs for these are totally different and cost a hell of a lot more too. It is a possible modification but an expensive one and not to be taken lightly if you are considering it.
Have a swanny round your local Halfords and look in the book of bulb types. Yours will be listed.

IMHO Bionic is confusing you.
Rightly or wrongly HID ie high intensity discharge are often refered to as xenon. These use a 'bulb' that strikes an arc inside it.
Xenons lamps you might buy at Halford are a tungston lamp but with xenon gas inside, the same as a halogen lamp would be.
Projector lights still use an ordinary tungsten type lamp inside and from the outsdie look virtually the same as a HID lamp.
Do your lights take a second or so to 'warm up' when you turn them on & your headlight switch have NO thumb wheel to alter the beam hight from inside your car. If yes to both , then your car has high intensity discharge lamps. :y

Simple answer...as your lights look the same on both the 98 and 99 they are both mini facelift so...an elite will have HID "Xenon" headlights and all the rest will have projector headlights...

Another way of telling if they are HID is to switch on the lights, wet your hands, and have a fiddle with the wiring and connectors.
If you wake up the other side of the garage with what's left of your frazzled hair still smoking...then you've definately got HID's.
:D :D
...or you could just look for the warning sticker ::)

Now i have no hair and im giving up smoking, ;D
Thanks for that, I think thay must be projector headlights then as the 2 pairs r the same.
Right iv got a question...I put a front bumper on my Omega and it had the fog lights in it.
My old one never had them.
When i was fitting the bumper i found the plugs that the fog lights go in.
So i pluged them in and fitted the dumper.
Then i replace the light switch inside the car for one that had the front fog light switch on it.
But when i switch them on thay dont work.
I look in the fuse box but i couldent see where the fuse wood go. So i stoped and gave up. I told myself i wood do that job next time. So where have i gone wrong. HELP?
