Title: sealing rings for heater matrix
Post by: Varche on 20 March 2010, 14:05:42
My replacement heater matrix has been purchased from Partsbuy and will arrive here late March.

In the maintenance guide it says " 18) Remove and replace the “o” rings on the pipes "

Do these come with the new heater matrix or are they a dealer only item? If so anyone got the part number for them please?

Well my new heater matrix has arrived today and has no sealing rings.!!

Do I actually need to fit new ones?

If so any suggestions on where to get them gratefully received. Dealer only part?

They are actually a standard o-ring - should be readily available (even in Spain) - try a plumbers merchant!

That would be a "fereteria" - like a wonderful old fashioned ironmongers. they have boxes full of every size rubber ring you could imagine. I presume they are for 15mm pipes

Think so - they fit on ends of pipes that clamp into matrix.
