Title: cam belts
Post by: Andy B on 30 March 2010, 17:33:45
Does the forum have a recommend supplier of cam belt kits? I know various times that http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/ have been mentioned.

Vauxhall £125 vs Buypartsby £82

Having just had mine changed by James V6cdx(thanks again) there wasn't much to write home about visually with the old one. There was a little movement though on the water pump shaft which I had asked him to replace anyway. Peace of mind maintenance pays! :y

I'm suprised. The markings/part Nos on the bearings are the same as the genuine Vauxhall kits and made by SKF.

The Contitech ones I've had from Buypartsby (complete with SKF bearings) were stamped GM!!!  No probs to date.
