hi everyone just got me v6 changing the engine end of the month cam belt came lose its all good fun

Hi Jon, I'm new here as well.  What caused the belt to come loose?  Was it neglect or component failure? (tensioner).

Engine swap not too bad on these.  If its only top end damage, a pair of heads shouldn't cost much?
