I need to replace my NSF wheel bearing assembly. This will be the second time as the replacement I fitted last year (pattern part) does not appear to run true. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion as to whether I should go for a "SNR" kit from "Euro Car Parts" (Part Number: 628720080) which they recommend, or go to my local Vauxhall agent for a genuine part. The pattern part I used before was an "FAG" part from "Sutton Auto Factors". I don't feel inclined to use them again!
Cheers [smiley=rolleyes.gif]

I rate the contitech parts (which I suspect are SKF actualy).
Question is.....is it the bearing (given its not running true, I suspect not)....or the king pin

When I say it doesn't run true, I actally mean the disc oscilates ever so ever so slightly, resulting in a rubbing noise / feeling transmittted through the car at about 25MPH. Above and below this speed it is virtually undetectable. I changed the front discs and pads two weeks ago thinking they were warped, but problem still remains. Where would I obtain contitech Parts?
Cheers

£67 from ECP, they do a cheaper one, but as said I am a bit hesitant about going for cheap.
Thanks for the info

I have a Sutton Factors one on my MV6, to replace a (unknown) pattern one that went on a couple of years back. Time will tell ;D

wondering is the disc seated correctly? and if so is the part under warranty?
both my genuine discs have a slight wobble in them, and its probably within tolerance...
is it worth swapping the discs to opposite sides ( with the pads if your going to drive it ) and see if the problem is still there or the wobnle swaps to the other side?
just some thoughts?
