no....and yes....

the code 19 is crank sensor, which causes bad running to breakdowns.

cam sensors normally reliable on the v6's

so he has 1 code....but lists a different fault....going by the code, £50 odd quid fix  :y

Yeah i checked the code out to be a crank sensor too but i was just guessing that he got the two mixed up.

Im going to have a look at the car anyway, but wondered if there was a way to check the sensor or just change it in someones drive.

So... Recon i can change it easily? I dont know where it is as ive never worked on a 2.5.

What do we think to the car other than that?

Cheers

Ive just read through Vmax old posts and it seems that this stalling problem is a bit of an issue. He seems to have tried numerous things to fix it and not suceeded so im a bit worried about buying it.

Anyone else have any ideas as to what it may be?

Clean ICV and fit new MAF sensor  :y

Wipe code 19 and see if it reappears.
