hi all,
just had the front brakes done- new pads..
now i get "brake pads" message on the display... how do i get rid of this message?
-
Obviously wear sensors were removed and not replaced with new. Fit new sensors or splice the two wires on each of the connectors to eradicate the fault message. Connector just to the right of droplink (black bar) in this pic http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1219190177

you either broke or did not replace the sensors that clip onto the pads

If I'd paid someone else to do the job fro me, I'd be asking the garage I'd just paid the question! ;) ;)

Me too ;) ;)
But, if they can let it go with a fault showing I'm not sure I'd be happy to go back :-/
