Title: Search old MOT history/mileage on the web

Apologies if you all know this already, but I've just got a new MOT, and now the records are all computerised , I've found you can access - on the web - previous MOT details, INCLUDING the recorded mileage at the time.

Just go to www.motinfo.gov.uk

This could be very beneficial if considering buying a new car and wondering if the odo reading is genuine.  All you need is the reg No. and the 12 digit MOT test number (which the seller would presumably let you see).

I found this very interesting  :o  Wish I'd had access to this in the past............

you can do it with the reg and v5 number as well
