Title: strange missfire on 2.5

help! my 2000 v6 omega is sick when you drive along and put your foot down there is big missfiring/jerking up to about 3500rpm the it eases down but still dont clear but at idle to about 2000rpm all is good it it had a new coil pack,leads and plugs fitted a year ago before i had it she has only done about 6000 miles since then ive looked for any leaks cleaned and gapped the plugs still no better.what els can it be can any help me. :'(

would it be worth changing the plugs even though they were changed about 6000 miles ago can any one please help

Yes, for the price of GM plugs it's worth a go, make sure No 6 is replaced, not to bad as a DIY job

Classic lead breaking down symptoms.....I bet if you only tickle the throttle its better/ok

thank you will change the plugs at the weekend try that. also will look at the leads but thay have only done 6000 miles so could they still mess about then?

just to add the missfiring/jerking only dose it when up to temp.

hi all ive changed the plugs today took her for a short drive seems ok so far thanks for all your help.
