hi to u all ive got a 2.0 16v 1994 with manual heater dials and i can get an electric climate control system from a 1998 that i would like to install. i know my car dont have the plugs and i am aware of having to strip the loom out and refitting the correct loom in all i ask is has anyone ever done this kin of work before and is there anything i should be aware of before attempting it .1 of the main things i keep thinking about is the 3 plugs in the engine bay thinking i may have to move some pins about to match the 2.0 configuration any adive or hints would be great
thanks

Whilst nothing is impossible, such a conversion would be close ;D
Don't even go there....

oh ok may i ask why ?

Off the top of my head, you'd need to swap out, add or replace:
Dash loom
Engine ECU (as I understand it, they are different to allow for revs drop when CC is on)
Engine loom (perhaps)
Fuse box (perhaps)
Heater control switches (you have these!)
Heater blower (perhaps)
Heater matrix
Climate ECU/ECU's
All underbonnet AC components
Temp sensors
Radiator and fans
And probably a shedload more.
All this would have to be from a car with same engine as yours too.
:o :o :o :o
Easier and probably cheaper to buy a car with it all on!

presumably, existing car already has AC, so that makes it easier.
It will be dash looms (an absolute mare of a job), some of the ducting, adding the sensors, actuators, speed controllers, sun sensors.
