Title: Boot release button + Alarm
Post by: Rytimk on 19 April 2010, 13:46:38
I was wondering if anyone can help with a 2000 2.5 v6 boot release button below the stereo.

Mine will not work yet the orange light on the button comes on when i have the boot open.

Any help would be cool. :y

open back door, lean in, lock driver's door - make sure key is stillin your hand - and close back door. Don't lose the chip form the key if you're just using the horse shoe bit of the key.

Ensure keys in hand/pocket.

Open rear door drivers side

Reach in lock car using the lock button on drivers door

Ensure keys still in hand/pocket

Shut rear door.

Car is now locked but alarm not set.

Should you leave the keys in the car doing this procedure ...  ..  :(

EDIT : Snap .. great minds etc etc etc..  :)
