Title: deisel injector leaking

hi guys i have a 2.5td and one of the injectors is leaking from were it screws into the engine. can this be tightend up to stop it leaking or is it knackerd. also does any body no the socket size to remove the injector. cheers kevin

Never done Diesel injectors yet, but I would suspect the copper washer, and the socket size is 27mm, however one of the injectors has a wire on it, so you need a window socket. Sorry I can't be of more help.

hi its not the one with the wire on it but i did guess 27m just need a deep socket to go over it. would like to no for sure before i buy one cheers

Yep - it's a 27mm deep-drive HEXAGON-type socket.
Torque to 65Nm.
