hello all, first question, is the omega a 4x4? its got driveshafts and a gearbox at the back?

its got a diff at the back to make it rear wheel drive..tho i wish they were 4 wheel drive and its not a silly question ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ;D :y

ahhhh.. cheers bud, so its just a diff not another gb.. thank fook, first time iŽd looked under it today (checking exaust for holes etc pre itv (mot), and as soon as i saw it had drive shafts etc on the back i was all .. "ooooh its 4wd.. hmmm"
never had a rwd car :o :o

yer dont really need a haynes when this forums here there is some very knowledgable peeps on here who talk a load of shit in between ;D

On the upside, despite your initial disappointment that its not 4wd, rwd can be an awful lot of fun ::)

Haynes is pretty good for describing the parts, locations etc. Couple that with the expertise on here for cleaning breathers and other jobs and you are sorted!
It would be helpful to put manual, auto,saloon/estate etc on your profile so that any future questions can be easier to answer.
