Title: Traction control glitch ????
Post by: jester1905 on 25 April 2010, 19:48:29
Ok here we go ..... The traction control on my 2.5 V6 has cut in a couple of times in the last week when cruising at around 50mph. The warning light flashes on and off for a few seconds with a corresponding loss of power then clears as soon as I lift my right boot .......

Any idea's folks  ??????

Does the engine ECU light come on at the same time as the traction control light?

There was a discussion on here about an interaction between a missfire caused by a code 19 crank sensor fault and the traction control.

Might be worth checking for engine fault codes.
