Title: Front brake prob

Hi all well i have a prob with my front brake.Sometimes when im driving and push the brake the pedel is rock hard and makes a funny noise so i then have to take my foot back off then back on to stop.Iv also noticed that if i hit the brakes hard the o/s/f wheel locks then which the car skids at an angle.Anyone know what can be the prob of this.Thanks

Whens the last time you checked the brake pads

Could be air in the other side, try bleeding the system.
