I have an auto dipping mirror here that i want to fit to my facelift estate but there is a problem. The plug on the wiring loom for the car has only got 6 wires going to it,
Brown, Black, Red, Brown/Black, Blue/Red, and Brown/White.
The piece of wiring loom that came with the mirror has 11 wires going to it, Black, Black/White, Brown/Black, Black, Black/Red, Brown, Grey/Yellow, Blue/White, Blue/Red, Grey/Black and Grey/Black.
Now i suspect that some of these wires are for the memory function that operates from the seats and as i don't have the memory funtion seats(poverty spec ex-plod vehicle)
can i fit this mirror to the car ?
which wires go to where ?
Has anyone on here come across this problem ?

Thanks for that, i didn't realise it could be linked to the interior light aswell.
Do you know what colour wire to take the feed from the interior light plug ?

Not sure if they vary - I'd stick a meter on the wires going to light in order to pick up the ign 12v, 0v, and courtesy light on wires :y
