My friendly mechanic has started the process of taking the V6 rocker gaskets off because the oil was leaking into the plug wells. Well known problem apparently. However when he took the breathers off he also found a fifth pipe coming from the bulkhead along with the four breathers. It wasnt connected to anything so does anyone know where it should fit ?
The car is a 1999 VAUXHALL OMEGA CDX 2.5 V6 AUTO
Thanks in advance

Shouldn't fit anywhere, it's the autobox breather and is normally clipped up under the skuttle and left open to atmosphere :y

If it's not too late, you should read and print out the following for your friendly mechanic, taking note of the requirement for genuine GM gaskets and the black sealant in the specified places:

Also, there's a link in there for cleaning out the breathers. This should also be followed, or the problem will recur soon.
