Title: Estate, Folding backseats not working

The small button used to release the backrests are not working. They are not coming back up, but stay jammed down.
Seats won't lock into their place and the center belt is also locked because of that.

Also, only the smaller backrest will fold. The other just folds a bit and then stops at something.

Any ideas?
I'm thinking of removing the seats and taking them apart to see what is wrong, but is there anything else?
(How do you take them off :D )
