Hey all,
So.....the 2.0l engine, at the rear of the block where the EGR valve is, I have a coolant leak. Seems to be coming from where this casing (which has the EGR on top?) joins the head?... :-?
Any ideas? Standing at the front of the car, looking at the engine. The leak is at the rear on the right side.
Thanks all.
ps. Still working on the emissions problem :(

That 'chunk' that the EGR and DIS sit on has a coolant passage through it (big rectangle in the middle with traces of gasket around it); as well as exhaust gas passages, obviously. There's a gasket between it and the head, and three bolts hold it onto the head.

I'd imagine removal/replacement with the head in-situ will be rather unpleasant access-wise. :'(
Check that none of the three bolts has broken or worked loose as a first step. (Unlikely I think... :-/)
