I don't think the rear quarter panel is bolt-on is it? This would mean a body shop job I think, but I may be wrong :-/
Also, excuse me for highjacking this thread, but a question for mark mv6. Mark, could you please tell me if I need to do any special preparation work on my plastic LPG filler before painting it the same colour as the car? It's flippin' cheeky, I know, but if you don't ask? ::) ;D ;) :y

Not a bolt on job,you will need to get handy with the welder or otherwise a job for the pros mate, but then again you will be surprised what they can repair today, seen my mate repair some right states. :)

I just know it as plastic primer phil, you can just get an aerosol if its just for a filler cap,but make sure its fully degreased first, shouldent really need to tell you that,as its obvious anyway. :y

To put this thread back on topic....
No, that panel is a complete PITA to take off. Can you email or post a pic of the damaged panel? It's been a long time but I used to be fairly handy with a set of dolly's ;)
EDIT: If it is really bad I can get a genuine Vx replacement panel for around £100. Easily take a day to fit it though.
