Title: air shockers

hi

but was wondering what you actually get and is it easy to fit and set up?
The back end of the car is pretty low when towing, I`ve fit new springs but it diddn`t make a difference
Any info would be a help as I dont want to end up wasting £190.
I`m towing caravan from Leeds to St Ives at end of month so I need to get and fit them asap if there any good

Hi,

as it happens I fitted these to my 2.2 yesterday. I even bought them from the same place.

Fitting was a doddle, nut at the top and bolt at the bottom for the mechanical bit. Fitting the air lines was also easy but took a little while to make a neat job. I mounted the gauge/valve in the driver's side cubby hole which has the first aid badge and ran the lines up through some plastic bungs. Easy to work out. I pressurised it this morning to almost max and could see it lifted the rear of the car up considerably. Not tested it under load yet but will also fit the rubber donut assisters. Looks promising though. Sorry for long reply.  :)

Air line at you local garage forecourt/foot pump/plug in 12 volt compressor. The valve is incorporated into the block that the gauge is fitted to.  :y

I've fitted my set an I got to say there pretty good.
I fit the shocks then drilled a hole each side an run the pipework around the boot to the first aid cupboard where  I fit the pressure valve.
real neat an tidy job. well worth the money
