Title: Wurring/droning noise from rear

I have a wurring, droning noise coming from the rear of my auto 2.2 facelift.
If I open the window it is quite loud, happens even at low speed & when coasting. The tyres are good & have not been changed. There is some oil around the diff where the prop joins.
