Hi i hear i can adjust my manual gearbox how is this done because i have trouble getting first an revers when cold ok when hot

does the clutch bite near the floor? might be worn out, but sorry, no idea if the clutch is adjustable.

The clutch isn't adjustable, it may need bleeding though.
Next time you start it from cold try both of these:-
1) Pump the clutch 3 or 4 times and try reverse. This will see if the clutch has air in the system.
2) when going for reverse slip it into 5th then back into reverse. This lines the shafts up better.

you can adjust the static position of the lever, but it's unlikely to be the cause of your problem. Suspect a general ageing thing, although you could check to see if someone's put EP80/90 in it by mistake. The proper oil is very similar to auto transmission fluid and makes the change much sweeter, especially when cold.

Hi yes i put it in 2nd to get 1st or 5th to get revers so adjusting the gear leaver wont make any differance so will change oil and my clutch is about 3/4 up before it starts to bite and pumping the clutch dose not make any
differance

its most likely from the arm from gear lever to gear box selector. i had this problem on my old astra f. i used to change the pin every year and the arm every 2 years because it was verry hard to get into 5th
another cause for this also happened to me with the old astra but then the pressure plate cracked and started to get stiffer and stiffer until no gear would enter with the engine on.
is it the same with engine on and off??

i bet my money on the pressure plate...
to check the clutch you have to suspend the car and see if the wheels stop spinning when you press it. if they don't then its the clutch.

I had a simliar problem, it turned out to be the clutch release bearing piston, it was leaking and didnt work to good, but when the car warmed up it got better, have you checked your brake fluid? is there any fliud around the bottom of the gearbox? It's probably worth trying the simple things first like bleeding the clutch to see if it help
