Hi, members very kindly advised previously on the code, what it means and how to replace the crank sensor. Unfortunately after fitting a new one whilst battery was disconnected, the car starts better but we still have a fault code 19, is this normal? Very grateful for any advice you can give.

code will disapear after some run cycles or you may have to use a code reader to delete it

The fault code will remain logged in the ECU till it's had 20 or so 'clean starts' or cleared via a code reader. Give it a few days & do another paper clip test & I'm sure it'll have gone. :y :y
