Title: Front Chassis Corrosion ?
Post by: fergy on 19 May 2010, 00:07:09
I have noticed that several Omegas have finally met their end due to "Front Chassis Corrosion"
Has anyone any experience of this, exactly where do they corrode? I'm looking to do a bit of preventative maintenance and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been there.
 Thanks .

under the rad at front in corners, you can fix it but it take's time best to catch it before it holds, rust killer is good, also gose under front wings behind the plastic.

usually the front chassis "longerons", the rails that run from the front bulkhead to the front bumper. Under the battery tray is a favourite place to rust.
