Title: headlights ????

this may sound a silly question but i need to know how do i tell which headlights are fitted to my car not sure if last owner changed them its a 98 R 2.5 TD

If they`re HID`s (doubtful) you won`t have an adjuster wheel on the left side of the lightswitch. Projector type have an "eyeball" , very early type just the bulb

i have an adjuster on the light switch but don't seem to do anything
