Title: omega v6 cdx brake pads

changing the pads on a 2.5 v6 on friday is there any special way to push the piston back ?

i.e just gentle squeeze shut or wind in ?

huge pair of plumbers pliers did it for me

Squeeze them in with a pair of grips and push the old fluid out of the bleed nipple. If you don't do that you risk reversing the seals in the master cylinder.

As already said, but make sure you cover the brake reservoir with a cloth or similar to prevent excess fluid finding it's way onto your paintwork or rubber accessories! :y
