Title: Dead MAF diags
Post by: Jimbob on 31 May 2010, 20:37:13
Anyone who's looked at a 3.2 or 2.6 with a MAF issue.

Ever seen no reading at all?  0 Volts etc?

If so did a new one fix it, or where else should I look?

Cheers

Never seen one that bad.

It normaly reads high in my experience.

0 would sudgest an open circuit but it could be a very goosed sensor.....or another 'quirk' of the "My Naff Code Reader".

thought it sounded weird..

plus have to select model 01 not 02 for "My Naff Code Reader" to work at all...

a dodgy reading I would be 'happy' with but no response seems weird.

on clearing the permanent code, it went to intermittant  :-/

If only it was insured....could have been on route for a tech2 in the morning  :y

(and on that note....can I get you to check out that cruise control abnormality where it doesnt engage till decent speeds, see if the tech2 can see a reason, cheers  :y)
