hiya,
sorry if this as been asked before and that it isn't really just a omega problem.
just bought fresh front doors to replace my dented ones but they have SPORT in chrome letters on them were as mine have CDX
what is the best way to remove the chrome lettering without damaging the paint work plus whats the best thing to use to stick my CDX letters on.

To remove just heat gently with a normal hairdrier, they should come off complete with black sticky stuff. To refit your CDX letters have a browse on eGay or you local motor factors for 3M trim tape :y

Credit card and a hair dryer is the best method. Warm up the area with the hair dryer and use the credit card and slide it between the door and the lettering and gently prise them off...always worked for me. Once they've been removed you'll need some T-Cut and polish etc to remove the sticky residue. The old badge won't stick to the door again, you'll have to buy a new set of CDX badges, or simply leave them off.

They say dental floss used like cheese wire works well, never tried it, but the theory sounds good. ;)

Ive used fishing line doesnt harm the paint but cuts through the sticky stuff like a hot knife through butter
