Title: Dextron 2 or 3 ????

I have an unopened bottle of Dextron 2,  MarksDTM's guide for topping the auto gearbox states Dextron 3. Is the difference between the two so great that I cannot use the one I have? Many Thanks for any reply  :y

Yes, you cannot use it for the gearbox....fine for the power steering though!
