Title: Glove Box
Post by: cleggy on 06 June 2010, 02:37:17
I know that this has been covered before, but I can't find 'A How To Do It'
The problem I have is that since I  got the car the glove box was a bitch to open( sorry to those easily offended) .
Finally today (yesterday) ;D OOPS Peroni, it gave up the ghost and the catch departed from the main body.
Now I reallly don't consider this a major problem, I stick my thumb in, and just move the catches. However should my car get broken into then the insurance will come back with the excuse that 'Things stolen should be locked away out of sight!'
So from both the financial point of view, and because I like my car  in'  AS SUPPLIED CONDITION'.
How do I refit the catch, having all the pins, lock etc that came away in my hand, or do I have to get a new one?
THANK YOU

P.S This is the BEST site that I am honoured to take part in, members help, and welcome is secod to none.
However, I have had a warning from the MODS ( Mine was a Lambrettta SX 200, fully emblazoned) ;) Language, and mild racism, which some participants found offensive.
However one should consider that New Members tend to follow the demeanor of those already established.
This is a WONDERFUL site in all it's guises, it is not broken by any means, so guys, and ladies let's all pull together :) :) :y :y
NO TOYS OUT OF MIGGY'S :-* :-* :y
