Title: locked passengerfront door

lock would not operate using the fob or key at to manually operate the button now the button is in the locked position and will not budge

Your solenoid is probably going u/s in that door.  Give it some time and it will pop up again; well at least mine  did after frequently doing that! ::)

The answer is to be ready to replace the solenoid ;) ;)

You can sometimes 'help' them as you operate the central locking.  :-/

Mine did this and a member suggested a good grip on the knob and pull it up. It appeared very stiff but it did release. I gripped with a pair of pliers to enable a firm pull.
