Title: Vacum tank
Post by: mrjimbo on 11 June 2010, 17:38:26
Does the front vacum tank, the one connected to the multi rams have a one way valve on the larger of the 2 nipples ?

So it does have a one way valve in there  >:(  been getting conflicting opinions regarding this  :-?

Now, mine has become stuck/blocked/jammed and there is absolutely no flow through it whatsoever. Can the valve be drilled out and a one way valve from a screen washer be fitted inline close to the vacum tank nipple or can the vacum tank be by-passed altogether as a temporary fix or am i goosed ?

I use a fish tank one way valve....but you do need flow through the tank.

Or just get a new one or good second hand one.
