It is related because the impact sensor in the door has been unplugged, you need tech2 to turn the light off  :y

Sensor unit runs length of the door at the bottom, its a pressure sensitive one for side impacts.

OOF has tech2, nearest one to you would be MarksDTM in Nottingham, he can reset it, dealers will charge anything from £20-70

If you can live with it for a few weeks, my 'Cheapo Tech II' should be able to turn it off for you. I'm busy all this week end, then in work till Sat then away for a fortnight.
Then I need to see someone in Swinton!   ::)  ::)  ::) .......

Mmmm? 80 miles worth of fuel to Nottingham, it'd be almost as cheap to book it in at the dealers  ;)  ;)  ;)
