I have a 2,0 N Reg ( 1996 ) Omega,
I have two questions
1, How the do I get the back plate off ? Ie the hub, what tools do I need, and how does it go back in ???
2, Where can I get a new one and what is the price for it.
Its the Rear pass, side.
Any tipps welcome.
Thanks.

if you take the drum off there is 2 bolts holding the back plate on, mine used to be trox type on mine but when I changed them with plate put 2 8mm bolts in as right size not to interfere with the hand brake, original ones are hard to get out when rusted, drill'd the tops off then drilld the bolt out and re-threaded the hole. £10, vx

IIRC To change the backplates involves pressing the wheel bearings out with a hydraulic press. :'(

I think Matchless wrote a guide to changing the rear hub bearings but I can't find it at the moment :-/
To get the brake back plate off I believe you do need to pull the drive flange/stub axle out of the wheel bearing but I think the bearing can stay in the trailing arm. (getting the bearings out of the trailing arms can be a mare of a job if rusted in)
