Title: 2.5TD into 2.2 petrol

I have the chance of a complete 2.5TD for spares and wonder if anyone has experience of grafting this "hens teeth" engine unit into a later '02, 2.2 petrol CDX estate. Any info will be welcome. Is it a 'no go' or is there a chance it will breath a new begining into my old faithfull barge?

The last time something like this was muted, I seem to remember quite a comprehensive list posted by 2woody as to why it was a none starter ........  :y :y
