I hear ticking from the engine and I think the noise is coming from one of the lifters. The whole engine was removed and renewed. I've examinded these parts (I've read a guide in a maintenanve section too, and the oil from the lifters were pushed out in vice in my case too)
and I think I will remove all lifters from the car (I've already tried on a test unit) and I pull out the pistons carefully from the tappets with a pliers.I 've already tried in a test unit.
What do you think about it?I think it's much easier to clean extensively if the unit is in 5-6 pieces.

did you prefill the hydralics with oil, as they can get stuck if oil not move'd round for a wile, or engine been stud for a long time.

I always put them in dry because the first time I did one, and put them in full, I got no compression because the valves weren't fully closing.
What I do is put them in with the little hole in the side of the tappet facing AWAY from the oil feed hole in the head. Once it's all back together (or as much as needed) whip the spark plugs out, disconnect the wiring plug for the injectors and turn the engine over until the oil pressure light goes out and then for a good 30 seconds more.
Always works for me.
Is your noise a heavy tap, or a light tap?

Mind you, when there's 24 of the little darlings, it's pretty hard to find the one noisy one!

Ive got the same problem, mine are noisy on cold start up then go quiet, so i did an oil and filter change and added wynns lifter treatment, but now when hot the noise is quite loud.Am going to do another oil change to see if that makes it better.

Sometimes doing 2 or 3 oil changes approx 500-1000 miles apart cures these sort of problems without the need for any aggresive additives as often they seem to do more harm than good.

Have you checked it isn't the exhaust manifold gasket as a small leak there makes a ticking noise too.

I would be said because the manifold screws, and gaskets were replaced, but I will check both sides.

Have you checked it isn't the exhaust manifold gasket as a small leak there makes a ticking noise too.
Also the flexible section of the EGR pipe can split, and cause ticking noise when leaking exhaust.
It happened to mine.
