Hi
How long does it stay on? You haven't said what spec your car is, does it have ECC. If so mine runs for a couple on minutes after turning off the ignition.

This is due to your speed controller( hedgehog) failing I had the same problem Glove box out and a fiddly job to replace very expensive from GM I got mine on fleebay It was new about £60,00 when you take out the old one make sure you do not break the plastic retaining clips

My couison got at the speed controler last night but was unable to unclip it , it was getting late so we just put it back for now. Could this speed controler be the cause for my fan both not shuting off has well has speed not going up or down of the fan? :(

If this speed controller is the culprit! could you show me what it looks like so i can identify the part ! :-*

Go to World Car Parts on the net look at Blower Regulator-Resistor-Hedgehog you will see the part I had the same problem as you changing for this part solved it. Be very careful in getting the old one out I broke both plastic retaining clips but it was during that very cold spell Any problems come back to me
