Title: Power steering pump - where to get one?
Post by: geoffr70 on 17 July 2010, 23:19:00
Hello, does anyone know where to get a new power steering pump for a 2000 (f/l) 3.0 Elite saloon? Tried loads of places but can only find used ones. Thanks!

Look in the parts for sale and wanted section at the bottom of the forum groups list.  :y

Try your nearest vauxhall dealer for a new one. However just bought a used one for my miggy from www.omegaspareparts.com via ebay. Can highly recommend him. He sells anything and everything for all sorts of miggies.

Thanks for your help! I was after a new one though! Or will a few fluid changes sort it out? It seems to be a bit lazy when pulling away.

I believe a new pump will be different from yours. AFAIK the last cars had different pumps and only the new style pump is available which means you'd need new piping to go with it.
