Title: Elring exhaust manifold gasket - any good?
Post by: geoffr70 on 20 July 2010, 22:31:43
Hello, just looking for exhaust manifold gasket for my 2000 3.0. Found this on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370223204326&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT) and just wondered if anyone thinks this is any good, or should I stick with VX? If stick with VX how much are they, do they come in pairs and are they the same on both sides? I only need to do the drivers side ( for now). Do dealers still do them?!?!?!?! Thanks!!!!!

vauxhall gasket is £8.99 inc VAT, avaliable as a single gasket.

might want to budget for studs and nuts

manifold studs £0.39 each inc VAT
Studs £0.67 each inc VAT

Cheers

I'm going to get a couple of silencers from BuyPartsBuy and would like to order an exhaust gasket from them at the same time to save on postage. Anyone have experience of them? Part Number : EM846
