no.. not your wildest dreams on youtube..
but recently (unless its me) my rear end seems to be more.. jelly-ish, suspension wise. Returning from work the other night I seriously thought I must have a puncture somewhere as it appeared to be alot looser than normal.. but nope. Tyres all ok.. but feels like the body and axle are connected with elastic. What could be the cause of that?
Admittedly the road surface I noticed this on was shite, but it felt odd.. and I think still feels slightly abnormal

If its changed suddenly then I would check for a broken spring, then leaking shockers and on to the rear donuts.

if it was not sand dropped from a truck or a temporary wet surface imo its time to check the shocks and tire pressures.. :-/

also over inflated tyres can give same symtoms

whats the reading on tyre pressures?

Not tyres as I keep them the same all the time (at 33) and check often. Could be a broken spring - I'll have to get under it at some point. The ride is totally level still, although I guess a spring break wouldn't showup as a lean?
Can't see any shocker leaks. Strange..

My 2000 elite both rear springs had lost at least an inch from the bottom , self levelling suspension just lifted a bit so I never noticed the missing bits until I made a trip to WIM ......

Snap literally :o The broken bits had totally dissapeared that said the ride was firmer with the broken springs but I suppose you would expect that

Springs, shocks, bushes on the back.
Springs busted can go un noticed for years, but the ride is affected. can feel like a table with one short leg as the car balances between the higher corners, but it can depend on where the spring brakes
Shocks leak oil out and loose their damping, ime the rear wheels start banging over bumps as they leave the ground and wallow around.
Rear donut bushes, rubber separates from it's internal metal cup giving excessive side movement, mostly felt as a rear wheel steer, or steering from the back with no pull sensation or pulling on the steering wheel. Car just wonders off.
Also worth checking the bushes diff to chassis, but these are less problematic afaict.
