Great looking car, realistic price perfect for me if i was after a new car :y

Lovely car. If I could affored to run a petrol I would love it. Did anyone notice he said it has a heated front screen? I don't think so!!! :-) He must have seen the windscreen button beside the rear heated screen button and assumed he had it.

Very reasonable price indeed, what does he mean by a lazy tappet when cold?

Too technical for you Mike. It makes a funny noise until warmed up properly.

Prolly exhaust manifold blowing :-/

Thanks for that, but I do know the tappets are in the engine block :y

If you get a good'un, they are miles ahead of the pre facelift.

There is no such thing as a tappet on a V6 Omega ;)
I expect he thinks a hydraulic lifter is a bit noisy from cold, but on a well maintained V6, it's more likely to be the exhaust manifold as Dave says..

i'm dangerously tempted.....

..... but on a well maintained V6.....
Where does it say it was well maintained? ;) It might have been dealer serviced! ::)
-
Mine had a rattly lifter from cold when it had benefitted from 40k of VX 20k service intervals.
It's fine now it gets 4-6k oil changes.

My arse your to tight to get your money out ;)

its the shockingly long drive and lack of service history that's put me off, especially when a 3.0 has popped up less 10 miles from me, all be it without the kit and alloys, but i might be able to get it for about £800 cheaper, and it has full history and less mileage!

Give Vauxhall a ring and quote the reg No, you never know :y
All that kit at £3200 is a bargain and if Mrs EP was in a better frame of mind I would buy now and suffer later ;)

i'm still hanging on the idea of the standard car and putting 19" snowflakes on the corners instead though, Loo-Knee was right, i'm tight!!
