Title: EGR valve /solenoid
Post by: iancav6 on 01 August 2010, 21:10:31
Does anyone know if an Omega V6 will run without the EGR solenoid/valve connected?
I'm trying to fit an Omega ecu into my cav without the EGR and associated wiring, but can't get it to start.I've done a fault code check and get 129,131(EGR fault) and 145(immobiliser).I have the key and transponder to go with the ecu and suspect this, but before I pay to get it sorted i wanted to eliminate the EGR.

EGR will be ok blanked off but leave it connected at the plug otherwise it will show a fault.
