Title: my speedo wont work but abs light and tc light not

i have searched the site and it seems that all the other speedo problems also have the abs and tc lights but mine hasnt.
any ideas cheers. cliff

had the dash out recently? push firmly on it anyway to make sure its fully seated  :y

tried that and it didnt work and the abs and tc light dont come on at all  :-/

Do the ABS & TC light come on when the ignition is switched on :question

Check fuse 15 (20amp) has not blown...

Fuse 12 is fine and not blown  :)

Whip the dash out, if bulbs missing for TC & ABS I`d suspect ABS ECU failure :'(

If bulbs are missing then someone is doing a cover up job.  :-/

Which is a word of warning to anyone buying a car, check everything and question it.

If a warning bulb does not light there has to be a reason for it.

That could point to ABS ECU failure and bodge fix of remove the bulb...

If you bought it from a dealer take it back and tell him to sort it.

replacement needs to come from same engine / transmission. But as mentioned above take it back if you bought from a dealer. ABS ECU is not a nice job...

we brought it from a privert seller and i have read about it not being a nice job  >:(

Main problem seems to be different gear/axle ratios and tyre combo's

I had this samne problem when I bought my Elite. The logical thing to do first is to check the fuses THEN see if there are any dash bulbs fitted cos some skinflint idiots think that by removing them they cure any problem they are meant to warn about.
Bet you the bulbs are missing or blown!
