Title: Very Quick one
Post by: harpersimon on 04 August 2010, 10:47:02
How much should a CPS set me back - I want to replace mine ahead of it failing -as I am thinking its the cause of the irratic idle when warm, and sometimes taking longer to start - but don't want to get ripped off by the motorfactors. Should I go to VX?

Sorry - Crank Pos. Sensor - the one by the oil filter and the cause of hot engine stopping and bad starting. £50? £100? for a VX part?

Spot on - thanks mate. And defo a VX part - as I have found some on AutoVaux for a tenner less (depending on plug type apparently).. but assume they are not up to spec / won't last?
