We do very, very highly recommend the DVD, £3 delivered :y
(No OOF staff member makes anything from them, it all goes towards running costs for this site).

I bought the DVD prior to doing my first (and so far only) v6 cambelt change. It was extremely helpful, probably the best 3 quid Ive ever spent. I think its underpriced to be honest. :y
I will also probably be having a bid on that locking kit. ;)

My V6 cambelt is the first and only cambelt I've changed to date. Agree with getting the DVD, it's very helpful. With the locking kit it's very surprisingly simple and straight forward to do. The worst part I found was removing all the stuff to be able to get to it! I used a locking kit made by a company called AST but Sykes Pickavant are good also. Steer clear of Laser and Sealy locking kits, there have been problems with them. I'd also recommend getting a belt kit made by Gates as it has the timing marks on the belt which helps make things foolproof. Genuine Vauxhall belts don't have any timing marks on them which can lead to self doubt! Good luck! :y
