Title: Wishbones / droplinks?
Post by: I_want_an_Omega on 09 July 2010, 10:08:55
I'll be having new front wishbones fitted shortly (Lemforder) and was wondering whether its worth having new drop links fitted at the same time. Its a 3.0 V6 with 75k on a T reg.

Surely there isn't that much extra work involved.

Trade club price for 90445137 is about £26 each. Is that a good price?

Comments welcome.

Thanks .......... Rob

drop links are easy done at any time, just need to take the wheels off, then 2 bolts.

That price isnt exactly the cheapest.....

there are some really cheap ones, but I go for

You get to save money and time by not having to replace them in a years time (which you could with an Ebay special)which is like a discount- or I could knock you more than 20% off the Trade club price!  ;)

I bought a set of genuine lemforder rear subframe mounts from All German Parts Ltd a while ago on the reco of another forum member.
My experience was a first class service at a very reasonable price and extremely fast deilvery from suppliers .
They could be a very usefull source of genuine parts.

Hello Jason (AKA Allgermanparts)

Glad you found us! The Meyle bushes I bought off you 18 months ago are still as good as new on the Elite and the Lemforder wishbones and rear donut bushes I bought six months ago for the estate have transformed it.

Top man and next day delivery on Lemforder products  :y

Hi Jason, nice to see you have started posting.

They passed my car this year so I didnt need the wishbones in the end, but theres still annother car to MOT. ::)

I would sugest adding a link on a thread for each of the omega parts.  That way it saves a load of phone calls to you to get the info we need and if you are offering a discount then that extra time saved helps speed up the extra orders you recives.  (we all benefit)
